The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here's an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,600 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 27 trips to carry that many people.

Personally, my Christmas week meant only working for 8 hours that week: I was on Care Leave on December 22, worked 4 hours on December 23, worked yet another half a day on December 24, went home at 2PM that day, proceeded to get some last Santa presents for Z, and was on off the whole week – until Monday the next, December 29 – to which I was on Care Leave again.
Why Care Leave? (Zorgverlof in Dutch): Z’s crèche was closed for the Holidays.
Christmas Eve dinner was at 5PM that day. Papa A came home early from work to have the dinner prepared for all of us: his parents included. We spent that evening with us in our home opening gifts and watching “All You Need Is Love” (a Dutch Christmas Special TV Program) till 11PM – when Z decided that it was time for her to hit the sack.
